(NOTE: All times are Pacific Time Zone - just in case you forgot I'm on the West Coast For anyone who has tried listening to Synthscape this morning, you may have noticed it's been acting a little funny.... it started at 8:00 and then started over (for no apparent reason) at roughly 8:30. As of right now, it's about ten after 9:00, and the playlist seems to be progressing finally. Live365 has had some MAJOR issues this weekend. Two drives in their RAID array went kaplooie, their last full backup is almost a month old (and they appear to have no plans for utilizing any of their incremental backups that they've made since then), the broadcast scheduler is acting up... I do NOT know as of yet how long the service will continue acting funny, when it will be fixed, anything like that, so any plans I could make would be extremely premature as of this point. The restoration they're doing of their backup they claim will not be done until sometime tomorrow (a thought that has dogged my mind is "does this mean someone just doesn't want to work and is waiting until tomorrow to do something so they don't have to interrupt their holiday weekend?"). The Synthscape broadcast is currently appearing to function properly (although it's around a half-hour off schedule). It's definitely gotten farther into the playlist then it did when it restarted about an hour ago. Here's hoping it'll make it most of the way through.

According to the Live365 system gurus, the playlist scheduler is fully operational again. It does appear to be operating correctly for us at this point.
So this means that the evening broadcast of Synthscape SHOULD function properly. Only time will tell for sure, of course. But as of now I'm not anticipating a need of doing any special re-broadcasts of Synthscape like we had to do with the chart broadcast.
