Welcome to the new AeschTunes message forum!
After using Bravenet for our message boards on this site (and others) for many years, we have found a more versatile message board provider in ProBoards. Things to note about the new system:
1) You will have to subscribe as a member to the AeschTunes message board in order to post and/or reply to posts on this board. This will help reduce the likelihood of spammers (not that it was a problem for us on the Bravenet board, mind you). We will not be using any information that ProBoards collects for any purposes, and they have their own disclosures about use of your information.
2) We have set up different forum areas for different types of discussion. For example, there is a category of boards labelled "AeschTunes" - these are typically for general questions and discussion about AeschTunes, whether it be about the chart, the station, or the artists and songs on either. We would like to try to keep discussions in the proper areas as much as possible, as it not only helps us to answer any questions people may have in a more timely manner, but it also helps other members to locate the types of posts they are most interested in.
3) If your post isn't specifically about the chart, the station, one of the specialty shows, or related to the artists, we ask that you use the general board (where this is currently being posted). This can be considered an "off-topic" section of the board.
4) Once you subscribe to the board as a member, you will notice there is an "Administrator Notes" section that will appear. This section is for either Lesley or myself to post notices to board members. These can be regarding things on the board, the station, specialty shows, whatever. It could be an announcement of an upcoming live broadcast, a Live365 system outage, a delay in a regular site update, or any of a number of other things. We ask that you try to pop in to that forum periodically to see if anything new is transpiring.
5) The most important thing of all - let's have some fun here! We want this board to be an opportunity for us to get to know and interact with our listeners. We want feedback from you about what we're doing and how well we are or aren't doing it, and we want to also know what people are looking for. We can't promise to be everything to everyone - we won't even try to go that far. But we do want people to enjoy the time they spend with us either listening to the station or visiting the website.
