We've got several schedule changes coming up.
This week's chart broadcast on Saturday will be a little different. The first airing (8 a.m. ET/5 a.m. PT) will be our regular weekly chart broadcast. However, the second airing (8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT) will be a special chart broadcast of our top 40 songs of 2005, as determined by the number of points the songs have accumulated from the first chart of 2005 through to the last chart of 2005. We hope you'll join us for this special chart broadcast; the full 2005 year-end chart will be posted to the website shortly after the 2005 year-end chart broadcast concludes.
Starting on January 2, 2006, there will be a change to the broadcast schedule for the weekday (Monday-Friday) specialty shows; there will now be three airings a day instead of two. The new specialty show broadcast schedule is as follows:
1st airing: 7 a.m. ET/4 a.m. PT 2nd airing: 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT 3rd airing: 11 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT
And, last but not least, our newest specialty show, AeschRock, will begin airing on Thursday, January 5, at the above listed times. AeschRock is a two-hour long program that celebrates rock music of the past, present and future. Each week we will work with one or two themes for the two hour long time period, showcasing a broad spectrum of rock music. These themes could be focused on particular eras of rock music, particular styles of rock music, or even on particular kinds of recordings.
Thank you for your support of AeschTunes. Be sure to have a safe and happy new year, and we'll see you in 2006!
