On the broadcast of the New Music Showcase on September 15th, 2004, we debuted *EIGHT* songs for the first time on the station. As I write this, our evening broadcast is only about 15 minutes away, so if you can stop by, and check out all kinds of interesting new music!

Okay, I am quite angry at the moment. As I posted, about an hour ago, there were eight songs set to debut on the new music showcase tonight. Of those eight songs, only *THREE* actually got played. That's right, for some reason, Live365 actually skipped over *FIVE* of the songs that were debuting tonight.
As near as I can figure out, it has to do with when I uploaded them (though this is only theory as of yet). It appears that the three that did play were all uploaded prior to 9:30pm Pacific, while the five that were skipped were uploaded after that time. Since the files were all properly encoded (proper bitrate & stereo image, ID3 tags, everything - all verified with Live365's own playlist analyzer tool in addition to "hand verification" on my own end), this is the only theory I've come up with to explain this occurrence.
I've decided to do a special RE-BROADCAST of this week's New Music Showcase on Thursday, September 16th at 8:00pm. The missing songs should play properly. I will not upload the playlist to the website until after this encore performance.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that this special encore presentation is an EXPANDED edition of the show - it's scheduled for 1 1/2 hours! Try to tune in if you can!
